Another interesting note: Projected Maybin stats are 8.5 Sacks, 6 FF

For Sanchez, not too shabby
3500 yards and 25 TDs is pretty good. That 56.5% completions is still a very nagging issue though. 15 INTs isn’t great but you could live with it with 25 TDs. Of course, how many were pick 6s and how many fumbles did he have, I dunno.
Not a bad season for Greene. If he picks it up late, he can have his 1st 1000 yards season.
I don’t know what to say for Holmes and Burress. TD numbers look great but Receptions and yards are low for no. 1 type receivers.
On Keller, good year for a TE. Not elite.
To be exact, Sanchez has 5 games of 60% or better and 7 games under 60%.
This idea that some people (not just jumping on you J4L24) put forward, that but for one game he would be 60%, is just not true. If the Baltimore game did not occur, he would be 218 of 370 which is good for 58.9%. But the game did happen just like every other QB has a bad game, but their good games average them out.
Only number I like
Plaxico. Exactly what I expected for him if he were to help this team in the best way he could.

If you told me during preseason that Plax would catch 50 balls for 700 yards and 9 TD's
I’d say that the Jets offense would be in great shape. He’s been exactly what we’re expecting, if not more. Greene had a really slow start to the season and has been better recently, so he should get over 1000. Sanchez is showing improvement, but his % is still too low and obviously he’s throwing too many picks. I’ve got no problem with Tone’s production; he’s always making a big catch in the clutch.

The comp perc also adds another frustrating dimension
Plax has 37 catches on 81 targets, tone has 41 on 82 and Keller has 43 on 79. Each of them could easily have 10 more catches and 100 more yards if Sanchez could get the ball to them a bit more acurrately.
I think these are solid stats. I wish mark's completion percentage was higher, but he was in the 60s early in the year.
I think Greene can eclipse 1000 yards with a great game or two. I think he can have field days vs KC, Philly and the giants (and dolphins if we haven’t locked up a spot) I wish at least one of our receivers had 1,000.
Agreed on a receiver with 1000 yards
And that receiver should be Tone if he is worth $10 mill per year. Really, I think of a $10 mill per year receiver having at least 70 catches, 1000 yards and 7 TDs.
I don't think he's had a game where he's had 100 yrds receiving.
It seems like when he’s getting targets, it’s incomplete, he catches a few and then they don’t target him anymore until the end.

Well, they have 4 games to completely change what they have been doing all year
If Sanchez starts suddenly throwing at 80% per game, maybe. If Holmes rips off two 100 yard dashes, maybe. If Greene has a 200 yard game or Plax has another 3 TD game, maybe.
But you’re right. These are statistical projections based upon the 12 games played and they are subject to change. But I bet I have a better record at this point then a weatherman.
