You know, the Redskins tried to sign Santonio Holmes this past offseason when he was a free agent, but he took a little less money to stay with the Jets.
You know, these are two struggling offenses with two inconsistent quarterbacks.
You know, there are a number of players who have seen time with both the Jets and the Redskins including John Riggins, Laveranues Coles, Santana Moss, John Hall, Patrick Ramsey, and Kellen Clemens.
You know, DeAngelo Hall said Mark Sanchez is a middle of the pack quarterback this week.
You know, during the 2009 NFL Draft, the Redskins and the Jets both tried hard to trade up so that they could select Mark Sanchez in the first round. The Jets engineered a trade with the Cleveland Browns to move up to the fifth pick and nab him.
You know, Mike Shanahan coached the Broncos against the Jets in the AFC Championship Game in 1998. The Jets have made the AFC Championship Game the last two years.
