We all know that in order to make the playoffs, the Jets need to beat Miami. Also, the Titans, Bengals, and Raiders/Broncos need to lose.
1) Jets vs. Dolphins
Although the Jets have not been too good lately, I think that they will come through when it matters most. They will make sure that they do their part to make the playoffs. It may not be pretty, but I think they will beat the dolphins.
2) Titans vs. Texans
The Texans have nothing to play for. They will not improve their playoff seeding by winning, or losing. They are stuck in the third seed. However, they have lost the last two games. Its the first time that they are going to make the playoffs in franchise history. I'm sure they do not want to head into the playoffs on a three game losing streak, losing all of their momentum from earlier in the season. This leads me to believe that they will not rest their starters, and that they will beat the Titans.
3) Bengals vs. Ravens
The Ravens are playing for a first-round bye, and also playing for the division. This game is big for them. They are a better team than the Bengals, and I think they will pull through with the win.
4) Raiders vs. Chargers
The Chargers have absolutely nothing to play for except for acting like a spoiler to their division rivals. They have improved over the course of the season. I think they will be able to beat the Raiders, preventing them from making the playoffs.
5) Broncos vs. Chiefs
I think the Broncos will win this game. Yes, Tebow has been "figured out" the past few weeks, but with the season on the line, I have a feeling he will lead the Broncos to a win and to the playoffs.
While it's a longshot, I think it is possible that these things will happen, leading to another playoff berth. Call me an optimist, but it's not over until it's over.
