Merry Christmas to you from GGN.
As you might know, the Jets have an important game today against the other team from New York. It will determine bragging rights at family Christmas gatherings across the tri-state area, but more importantly it could help one team get into the Playoffs and knock the other out. These two teams have only themselves to blame for needing this game. Both had plently of chances to secure a Playoff spot and kicked them away. The loser of this game might be headed for a long and bitter offseason far earlier than hoped. Being knocked out by the cross stadium rival will probably make it a little extra bitter.
Leave your in game thoughts below in the comments section. As always, links to illegal streams broadcasting the game are prohibited. No exceptions just because its Christmas. We will act like Scrooge before the three dreams if we see any.

The team I feel for is Arizona
if the officials let Ken Whisenhunt challenge Cruz’ fumble, they win that game. At the time, it didn’t look like a big deal, but with the way they’ve been playing lately, that game could cost them the playoffs, especially if Atlanta or Detroit lose their last two. Additionally, the Giants would be 6-8 and eliminated from playoff contention at this point.

Watching the game with my girlfriend’s father, and I finally realized why Giants fans have so much hatred towards the Jets.
As a New Yorker, I root for the Giants when they play anyone other than the Jets. Why would I root against a New York team, especially a team that’s outside of the division? I have found that many Jets fans are accepting of the G-Men, but Giants fans can not stand the Jets. Now I realize that this is because they feel threatened. They used to be the “big brother” team, the team that got all the press and publicity (for good reason). Now that the Jets are an AFC contender, with a coach that gets all the publicity (and refuses to be a little brother), Giants fans feel like their team is out of the spotlight. I’m a Yankee fan, and I would probably feel the same way if the Yankees stagnated while the Mets generated positive headlines. Maybe Giants fans will disagree, but I really think that there is a little jealousy involved. Usually I stand by Big Blue, but today we are enemies.

If the Browns do the unthinkable and win, that means the Ravens have to play hard next week, because they’d be tied with the Texans at 10-5 for the 2 seed. Who do the Ravens play next week? The Bengals, so that game means something to us.
