The bad (and unexpected) thing is that the Eagles are actually not out of the playoff hunt.
If the Giants and Dallas lose next week, things get real serious, real fast.
The Eagles might believe they can rise from the dead. I’m hoping the Giants beat Washington in the 1 o’clock game.
Yeah.
It’d be nice going up against a deflated team rather than a desperate one.
On the upside, we have just as much to play for and if we can’t beat the Eagles, even on a surge, the playoffs don’t matter anyway.
And...
In rereading that, I don’t know why I thought of it as an “upside.” Haha. Realistically, we have to win out. Our schedule isn’t easy, but if we’re gonna hang with the big boys, now’s the time to start proving it. It’s not like any of the teams we face if we make the playoffs are going to be easier.

I may not be the most noble of men but in a town of lepers, im the one with the most fingers.
Giant LB'zz SUCK!! Mark Herzlich, Jacquian Williams,...Maybe .. Sadly this has been modified.
The only edge they have over us is SPEED.
They have speed on their offense, that I think we can contain. Our corners will keep the outside locked down, but celek can hurt us. I think with brodney covering him we stand a better chance. Mccoy can do damage in the screen game. We can move on their defense with Greene and keeping them honest with the pass

Discipline, discipline, discipline
Our defense isn’t going to be able to contain Vick and McCoy with their overwhelming sideline to sideline speed, so our guys need to stay in their gaps and TACKLE when they get their hands on these guys. This absolutely cannot be a repeat of the McFadden/BenJarvus/Helu effort, because McCoy will make a defense look foolish in a hurry if they over pursue and leave open cutback lanes.
