I'll take a W...

Todays game against Buffalo definitely had my heart pumping, while at times Im screaming and damning sanchez and the defense, and then cheering for a nice td grab. I'll take the win, but C'MON MAN!

CROMARTI what are you doing!? PUNT RETURNERS you are killing me, I was at the game in Denver and you made the worst attempt to return a punt and recover a fumble I've ever seen; and now this.  REVIS what happened to you? Johnson had a couple easy grabs you should have stuffed, granted you are human and professionals will make a play or two on you eventually; but i felt they were big time plays and deserved big time D from our best player. SS Brodney Pool makes a strong case, some how, for keeping E.Smith on the field which isnt a good thing. On the other hand J.Leonard looked solid today making some big hits, as well as D.Harris and S.Pouha.  A.Maybin got some payback today against his old team, recording two sacks early in the game. All in all though, with the defense playing how it has been, we'll get torched against a high caliber offense. Need to clean up the mistakes and play smash mouth football like gang green does!

I cant understand why Sanchez and Schotty cant stay on the same page. The entire Jets team looks like they are playing football with too much tentativeness, they look like they are over thinking and over analyzing while in play, instead of playing with an intense, physical style they have become known for. Now I don't know if that's bad preparation, bad game plan and scheme design or if it is more on individual players. Either way, the jets as a collective whole, need to re-energize and re-focus some how and try to get comfortable. I cant watch this bi-polar type performance from Sanchez and the O-line anymore, my heart wont last. I love when Sanchez is on the move, and rolling out of the pocket. He looks much more athletic, his throws and decision making seem to be much improved compared to his pocket play. Getting Dustin Keller involved seems to be a key component in almost all the Jets wins this season, something they seem to move away from after a week or two. When the line gives sanchez at least 3-5 seconds to  throw, we win. When they allow our rb's to average over 4 ypc, we win. The line has had problems all season, and with our game plan and style, our offense success relies on theirs.

Bottom line, Sanchez and the receiving corps made big plays when they needed to and got a W. The defense gave us a nail biter but prevailed, wont complain about gettting a much needed WIN. J! E! T! S!   JETS!    JETS!    JETS!!!!
