Bottom line
The Broncos are 4-5 and know if they beat the Jets they will be 5-5.
Many defensive players on the Broncos have commented over the last couple of days they feel well rested because the Broncos’ offense ran the ball 55 times against the Chiefs and controlled the clock.
If the Jets beat the Broncos tomorrow night, they will have to improve their performance as opposed to Sunday against the Pats and Sanchez will have to be a lot better as well as well as equaling the intensity, energy and passion the Bronco players will bring to the table.
The Broncos will NOT go down easily because they know if they can beat the Jets they will have a decent shot at making the playoffs.. You can take that to the bank
And by the way Tim Tebow is a superstar. And superstars rise to the occasion more often than they don’t.
Believe me no one over here is overlooking this game.
I’ve personally said, “If we lose to Tebow, I’m not watching Jets games for the rest of the season.” And by that I mean lose the game, not just Tebow beating us individually. But I know that it’s a distinct possibility that we could lose, especially from the extremely short week. The only way I see Tebow beating us is if he gets your TEs involved early and often.
But I highly doubt the Broncos can beat us if they are 1 dimensional. The option and wildcat are one in the same and well we originally had problems with the Dolphins running it, we have more experience against it then most teams do, as we’ve played against it in division and ran it.
You did mention something that will be key and that is ball control and TOP. I’ve preached this all season. When we control the TOP we win, especially early in games, when we don’t our D gets tired and we lose. If the D is fresh they will stop the run, if our O prohibits that by having another terrible gameplan, then the D won’t be fresh.
IMO, It’s gonna either be a close grinder, 17-13 Broncos or it’s going to be a blowout 31-10 Jets.
Hey
A good clean game with no turnovers is a good win for the Jets no matter what the score is. Closer game because of the short week factors. 23-16
Should be a blowout
Probably won’t be. I’ll go with 24-10.
