Really Santonio? Really? Was it actually a fatal mistake to keep Holmes over Edwards?

I'm sure you've all read by now that Santonio was publicly critical over the O-Line and QB play against the Ravens on Sunday. To me, this is very dangerous and alarming.

We are in a critical state right now. We are 2-2 with two division rivals sitting a full game ahead with no significant signs of slowing down. Our O-Line is in shambles, we have an offensive coordinator with sever cognitive problems, and our identity so prevalent from the past two seasons has went the way of Steve Jobs. Our QB (although I still have faith in him) is surely at least a little panicked and frightened by his lack of protection. Couple all of this with the most important Jets hall of famer bashing our team at will, and you have an extremely precarious situation. This next game could potentially (key word potentially) break us in half and leave us done for the season. And you mean to tell me that you wish to criticize the guy giving you the ball and the big dudes up front helping to give you the opportunity to get the ball? This is ridiculous. When Sanchez was asked to comment on this, he did so in the best way possible. “Within this locker room we talk about stuff like that. That’s about as far as I’m going to go on that", Sanchez said. Tone minutes later acted like a fool by pretending to not even remember what he said. Just from this, I automatically no longer trust Holmes. He's more concerned with his own ego than the rest of the team. I don't have high expectations for us any longer, but I still have hope. Let's hope to God this is just a misnomer and won't be a recurring problem.
