New York Jets at New England Patriots Wednesday Injury Report
The Wednesday injury report is available under the jump. Of note, Nick Mangold was back at practice, albeit in limited fashion. This is good news. One can only imagine that if Nick can practice, he will play. Of note on the other side, Danny Woodhead and Aaron Hernandez missed practice.

Hernandez did some warmups today,
and will reportedly do some more tomorrow. Not so clear with him. Very unclear with Haynesworth. Probably won’t have a good idea until Friday.
Any word on how Mangold looked?
It is what it is
Limited in practice, has said that if the game were today, he could play. I expect him to be full by this weekend.

NO haynsworth and no mayo could help us out a lot.
And it wouldnt hurt if woodhead is out i hate that little shit.
You HATE to love him.
He’s the classic underdog and he should’ve been kept by the Jets.
With that said, Woodhead being out means more playing time for Ridley(2011 3rd rounder) and maybe Vereen(2011 2nd rounder). Should be interesting. We’ll also be using a new guy at returns with Edelman out although who we’ll be using is as unclear as who we have playing MIKE. Trials by fire are always fun.
Also fun is storyline. Shaun Ellis, longest-tenured Jet, joins New England and struggles in the 4-front look. There’s a lot of pressure on him going into this game.

Disagree
Jets should not have kept Woodhead. He works great in the Pats scheme with screens, wheel routes, and short dump offs to the RB. Jets I formation and other power looks under the ground and pound philosophy are the anti-woodhead. He wouldn’t avg more than 2yds a carry in the structure of our offense.

Um...don't mean to be "that girl" so to speak but...
No one else is currently getting more than 2yds. a carry. That said, I’m hoping that changes drastically.
