Use this as the open thread for Monday's game between the San Diego Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs. This is an interesting matchup. The Chiefs were left for dead early in the year after losing a huge impact player on defense in Eric Berry and a huge impact player on offense in Jamaal Charles. With a win tonight, they will be in a first place tie.

The Chargers are coming off a loss to the Jets last week. They can take control of the AFC West with a win.

This game provides Jets fans an early look at a Chiefs team Gang Green will play later in the year. My gut tells me a Chargers will would be better for the Jets just because the AFC Playoff picture is crowded enough without the Chiefs in the mix. It also would probably be better for Kansas City to not be going all out to make the Playoffs when they play the Jets.
