Before I start, I don't want you to think that I'm the kind of guy who bails on people after poor performances. Im the exact opposite of that kind of person, I stick to people like glue, sometimes too long for my own good. Anyway, its my opinion that Schotty should be let go at the end of this season (based upon his performance this year). Many of you will argue that the sole responsibility of the Jets' mediocre start to the season should not fall on Schotty's shoulders, but should be dispersed throughout the entire offense. I say that that is true. It's not all his fault. It's the o-line's fault, Sanchez's fault, and Greene's fault as well. But the key fact, is that the Jets' offense hasn't looked more prepared than the opposing defense in a long time. When they do it's always during the opening first plays. However, have you noticed that the offense is always slow to adjust against some defenses. I just haven't seen anything spectacular out of the guy since 2009. The sparkle is dying, and it's hurting the team. This guy is a good coach, who at one point I thought was one of the best in the league. Now he has an arguably, elite talent offense, and has underproduced. The offense seems uninspired at times as well. The offense has dominated drives, but they are few and far between. If we are going to be super bowl contenders, Schotty has to compose himself, or he's out. I just don't think he's our man.
