Well, in case you don't know by now, it's the bye week. I just wanted to bring up a brief exchange I had with TE Jeff Cumberland from a couple of weeks ago. He had asked for a good name for a dog, and after thinking about it for a while, I came up with something. So I tweeted my suggestion.
@DvdVill
@jcumberland86 If I had a dog, I would name it Bark Scott.
I didn't expect a response, but I admit whenever a player interacts, it feels pretty awesome.

@DvdVill@jcumberland86 If I had a dog, I would name it Bark Scott. So disrespectful
I told him that no disrespect was intended, and he explained why he thought it was disrespectful.

@DvdVill@jcumberland86 haha no disrespect ...no one wants a dog named after them
Although I disagreed, I guess I understand his point of view.
@jcumberland86 Ok, good point. I'll just call my dog Rabies then (if I had one).
And that was that. But then I was watching "The Office" earlier, and apparently, Michael Scott named his dog Pamela Beagsley, and Pam Beasly seemed pretty happy about it. In fact, she seemed to be honored by it. So now I'm confused.
So I leave it up to you, Gang Green Gangsters. Is it disrespectful to have a dog named after you?
Also, here are some other dog names I considered: Bark Sanchez, Bark Brunell, Barkus Dixon, Barkqweeze Cole, Mutt Mulligan, Josh Barker, Brandog Moore, and Caleb Schlauderwoof.
Oh, and I hope Jeff is recovering well and here's to a healthy and productive season next year!
