According to our benefactor, Yahoo Sports' fantasy football rankings, Mark Sanchez has been the eighth most productive fantasy quarterback so far this season. The fact he has not hit his bye yet has probably helped a bit, but the numbers show Mark as a borderline starter and excellent backup fantasy quarterback.

Amazingly enough, he is only owned in 61% of Yahoo leagues. Even more amazingly, our very own official Gang Green Nation league has Sanchez as a free agent (until somebody in that league reads this and picks him up).

If you have an injury to your starting quarterback, or a bye is leaving you scrambling for a replacement, take a look to see whether Sanchez is available. The guy who might be able to help you during your postseason push might just be the most obvious option for Jets fans. In over one third of leagues, he is there for the taking.
