We now move on to the slam dunk portion of our ratings. Special teams coach Mike Westhoff's rating will be through the roof positive. The only question is whether it will be unanimous.

Westhoff is putting together another great year. The Jets lost their primary kickoff return man, Brad Smith. Kickers now have an extra five yards on kickoffs. New York's kick return game is as productive as ever. Joe McKnight is the latest dynamic returner. The formula under Westhoff has been to just plug in a fast and athletic guy and let the blocking schemes take place. Lining up returners at the back of the end zone to give them a running start is a brilliant call.

The coverage units have been very good. The Jets are consistently pinning opponents deep on kickoffs. Nick Folk is perfect on the season. Mike probably made a mistake telling the team to let Steve Weatherford go. Weatherford was excellent last year, and T.J. Conley has been shaky. Aside from that, no complaints about Westy.
