Rebuilding years
It's funny that, it was just 2009 when the Jets entered they're first year of "rebuilding".
This is my first time ever posting here, feel free to critique, I have thick skin.

Nuts have dropped
Sparky, we expect more because our coach has set very high standards. Year 3 is when you expect your qb to make a significant jump in his game. We haven’t seen that yet although I do believe part of Sanchez problems are due to our OC.
Yeah, my first post, so I definitely used too many words and din't hit all my points.
One of which is that due to Rex’s bravado and bluster, the fact that these are rebuilding years, gets swept under the rug.

Agreed on Sanchez, except a lot of teams are having similar problems.
The Bucs with Freeman and the Ravens with Flacco. Flacco in particular looks pretty dreadful this season and he’s in year 4.

Patience is not easy after following this team and their many rebuilding phases over the last 6 decades.
At this point I would ask Michelangelo what the fluck was taking him so long to paint the damn ceiling.
agreed
rebuilding is something losing teams do.

Yeah, new coach, defensive coordinator, quarterback, running back,
just a few minor tweaks

That was going on three years ago
I believe your assertion was that we are still rebuilding after two back to back AFC championship appearances. Now you could call casting off all the vets and players with contracts due rebuilding, but to me it was just shaving down the roster and being cheap.

True, but who steps in there first year and wins a Super Bowl?
You still have to develop those young talents, to pass a fair judgment. Do you really think any of these young guys have reached there ceiling? I guess I just feel like, if you’re still in the process of grooming your young core of players, you’re still re-building. Would you say this offense has an identity? Or are we still trying to “build” one? I see your points, bro namath, just trying to offer some friendly banter.

I hope not
let’s hope their ceiling is somewhere in the stratosphere.

Not to mention on defense,
Do you think Rex was completely satisfied, with every single player he had on defense? He didn’t change much his first year, or draft anyone on defense. We are only now starting to see some re-building on the defensive side of the ball (Mo Wilkerson, K.Wilson, K. Ellis). The nice thing about it is we’re winning along the way which is something i’m sure a lot of teams would sign up for.
