That uh, says about all of it. Jenny Vrentas is reporting via Twitter that WR Michael Campbell has been released from the practice squad. Campbell is a 6'2" receiver, so this could be saying one of three things. One, that the team feels confident in Plaxico Burress and they don't need another tall WR taking up a spot. Two, that Patrick Turner is suddenly lighting up the practice field. Three, that they just want to sign a developmental prospect at another position, say, defensive line or linebacker, to fill in some depth. While I'd love to see the second, it's probably just the third.
