Per Rich Cimini, via Twitter, Kenrick Ellis has a sprained ankle. Thankfully, it is not a high-ankle sprain, like the one C Nick Mangold is currently playing through. Cimini reports that there will be more testing done tomorrow, but from the sounds of it, Ellis will be fine in a couple of weeks.
The bye couldn't have come at a better time. The time off will allow Ellis, Mangold, and Mike DeVito to heal a bit before the schedule resumes. The Jets will need all three if they want to make the playoffs. I'll keep you all updated with more injury news as we learn more.
