Again, it is difficult to recommend playing any Jets at skill positions until the offense shows a thread of consistency. The best sleeper out there if you are really hit by byes in a deep league is LaDainian Tomlinson. LT is getting the start today against his former team. Rex Ryan seems to like using the little bit of competitive edge his players get from going against their former team or their hometown team from childhood. He tends to give these players extra work. Think about Jason Taylor last year against the Dolphins or even the extra time Vernon Gholston got against the Lions. Gholston is from the Detroit area.
Outside of that, the defense is always a smart play but will be trending down after a monster game last week. Mike Devito will likely be out against a run game featuring Ryan Mathews, and Philip Rivers is one of the top quarterbacks in the league. The Jets D is still a better play than most of the others in the league. It is just probably not going to deliver a performance like last week.
