Revis Getting Star Treatment
Another article that is praising Revis while simultaneously putting him down.
"Refs are barely calling penalties on him even when he does interfere".

Thanks for posting the article
I thought it was pretty fair. Though it lacks any specific information to back up its contention.
Yeah on second thought
I guess it was pretty fair. I just don’t like when the so called experts try to explain Revis’ dominance by saying he gets away with calls. Revis’ value has become more apparent with everyone else’s recent failures (notably Nmandi)

There is probably no other CB that gets watched and film broken down as much as Revis
So yeah, you are gonna see his hand in there sometimes. Revis certainly gets a little hold on the jersey. They all do though.

flag (or no flag).. this is the subject!
Well, In my opinion penalty or not howcome a blown call (or not) is even an issue.. How many times does New England not get flagged… Actually this season was one better, the Oakland vs New England game where the ref called pass interference on the Pats, then picked up the flag, and said there was no penalty… Raiders had to settle for a FG… What happend with the Ravens game? when they ran into our punter?? No Flag!!…. what happend in the 2009 AFC Championship game vs The Colts?? Refs throw a yellow flag for jets “holding” Not Colts slamming Snachez to the turf well after the hand off! (look that one up on youtube!!!!)….
I remember that one in the playoffs.
It was in the papers afterward. All you saw was Sanchez on the ground looking in disbelief about the flag.
And the home of the .... JETS!!!
Now lets get a G-D snack!!!

I disagree with the article
And I’m not being a homer about it. I think it depends more on the kind of game the refs are calling and not as much about Revis getting star treatment. The interception against Marshall was not PI. First off, Marshall was playing ean xtremely physical game with Revis initiating contact which impacts the way the refs will call their battle. Secondly, on that particular play Marshall was literally falling into Revis and he has the right to make contact to maintain his balance. Marshall broke right and the pass was thrown to the left which is why it led to an interception. All CBs and Receivers make some contact.
