Just like last year, Shonn Greene Has Lost the starting job to LT.  Whether it's because of Greene's lack of producing or Sexy Rexy's tendency to let players get back at former teams-the old man is getting the start.  If the Jets think this is the right move because of Greene's lack of performance, I sincerely doubt this will change anything.  LT has had an offseason already as a 3rd down type of back.  He's failed to even reach 100 yards this season on 23 attempts, but he has 17 receptions for over 200 yards. Even with Miami, he rushed for 7 times for 25 yards-with a long of 12 yards.

But, if it's for revenge purposes-why not?  I mean this could be a game where LT steps up as an even more vocal leader wanting to get back at his old team, possibly firing these guys up.  We all know we need more motivation and a higher flying offense. Oh and lets not forget that our running game with Greene has already been atrocious.  I don't see the harm in trying, we saw last season that LT could step in a starter role and be partially productive on a limited basis.

How will this work out for us?  I don't think it will be very well, and I think at this point Joe McKnight is a better back then what I've seen out of LT.  But hey-Maybe LT will tell Mark some real plays to run and not use the BS playcalling!
