DT Martin Tevaseu Signed to Practice Squad
In a move that surprises nobody, the Jets have resigned DT Martin Tevaseu to the practice squad, replacing OL Dennis Landolt. I said the other day that I expected this to happen, and indeed it has. I'm actually more surprised Tevaseu cleared waivers, more than anything. There are some teams like Denver that desperately need DTs, and Tevaseu has looked serviceable. I wouldn't be surprised if the Jets try and move WR Eron Riley down to the practice squad in four weeks when they're allowed to, and bring Tevaseu back up. This whole maneuver may have been in preparation of a move like this, however I doubt this is what the FO had in mind originally. Let us know what you think below about this.

MTV played well on Monday night
I remember one big stop at the goal line and I think he had another stop for a loss at one point. I would be bummed if we lost him.

Glad to see him in the fold still, but wish he was active.
Id really like to rotate Pouha, Devito, Ropati and MTV on running downs, and use Wilkerson, Kenrick and Dixon predominantly on passing downs. Keep the more athletic fresh and let them play more balls to the wall, while the other guys can rotate and hold down the point interchangeably.
Yeah it keeps them fresh throughout the game.
Dixon, ellis, and wilks have good speed for d-lineman. With maybin/ westerman/ pace and even Bart we have a decent pass rush.

Unfortunately, different personel groupings
would signal to the offense what the D was thinking. So far, the D has gotten hung up a few times with the wrong personel (nickel) on the field as the O goes no huddle and does the opposite (runs the ball).
I would think a rotation for no other reason than keeping people fresh would be best.

I'm amazed he cleared waivers
Dude is awesome. No idea why we insist on holding him down.
