Seriously. T-Rich won't take close to the veteran's minimum??
It's obvious he created holes and made the Oline look better than it actually was. It doesn't help that Hunter is a huge downgrade to Woody, Turner got hurt, Slauson is NOT as good a run blocker as Faneca, yada yada yada, but the truth is Tannenbaum reminds me of the fantasy owner who makes two too many moves.
Now I hear the Jets are 8 million under the cap?! The tickets cost a fortune, and the product on the field is mediocre. I don't care if you have to sign two fullbacks, T-Rich should have NEVER been let go. If he is in shape (and I bet he is) IMO he would be the single biggest catalyst to a positive change right now.
Is Woody almost healed up? If he is, the Jets better go sign him too, before he walks to New England and helps win another Superbowl.
Ducasse.........wtf. This guy had practice squad listed all over him. You put him on the practice squad, and if someone else want's that headache, "ce'est la vie."
There are O-linemen out there with miles left on their tires and impeccable resumes. Sign one, and admit your own mistakes. Namath is right, I'm sorry, and honestly I have always sensed that Namath is a die hard Jets fan who wants nothing more than for them to win. He always sounds like a fan that has seen the Same Old Jets, just like I have since 1982. My first year was full of excuses (Mud Bowl). Richard Todd still had to throw 5 ints in that game. Excuses!
Now I hear we are working out former Miami Dolphins FB. WTH? Is Tannenbaum upset that T-Rich was the players representative? Something smells bad, and I think it's the excessive pride of the GM.
Thank you for Revis Bradway! Tannenbaum would have likely traded up and taken the player rated higher than Revis.
