Can we stop getting all worked up over the first 5 games of the season. Everyone needs to stop overreacting and look at the past two years as a whole
Because the Jets went to the championship game in 2009 we completely forget how badly they struggled in the regular season. The Jets lost 6 of 7 games in 2009. Can you imagine the reaction then and that was in Week 11. We are in week 5 and some are calling for the coaches head. Lets relax and fire schotty AFTER the season please. The next 4 games are Miami, San Diego, Buffalo, and New England. I dont care that Miami is coming off a bye week....I like our chances in that game. San Diego on a 1 o clock game on the east coast....toss up. Buffalo...they might be 4-1 but were a much more talented team....like our chances there. Then New England comes here. History says that we win that game but there is also a great chance we lose that. I think at worst 2-2 in those 4 games. So were sitting at 4-5 or 5-4 going into the last 7 games of the season. Denver, Buffalo, Washington, Kansas City, Philly, Giants, and the Dolphins. There is no reason why we cant win 6 of those games. We should be favored in all 7.
Also if you rearrange our schedule...i would pick these 3 last games as losses. West Coast game, @Ravens, @Pats are the 3 toughest games on the schedule.
Were still in OK position to go at least 10-6 and make the playoffs....and we know what can happen if you just get there. Stop overreacting. In 7 days we will be celebrating them kicking the Dolphins ass and getting Sparano fired.
