Jets Offense vs Ravens Defense
Well i just wanted to start this off by saying this is my first post on this site, seems like a pretty cool place to talk to Jet fans so im going to give it a shot and just bear with me if something doesn't look right.
This week we all know we'll be on the Sunday Night Football stage again, first time since Week 1 playing Rex's old team the Raven's. Now looking at the depth chart i think it might be hard to start up Shonn Greene for this game.
If Nick Mangold does sit which unfortunately i think he will its going to be a rough matchup with our rookie center (Colin Baxter) up against Terrence Cody.
I'm a lot more worried about our left side of the line going up against not just Pro-Bowler Haloti Ngata but if Terrell Suggs lines up on the left side as well it will be a tough go on that side and worst part is its Sanchez's blind side so hopefully D'brickashaw can keep Suggs contained for most of the game. Other than those matchups the only other problems with the lines i can foresee would be if the Raven's blitz from the right side i tihnk that would cause major problems if Suggs lines up on Wayne Hunter i dont see Hunter lasting long so hopefully he sticks to his left side. I feel very comfortable with Damien Woody controlling his section of the line and hopefully Colin Baxter will be ready for a line that is better then the Raiders.
Jets WR's vs Ravens Secondary
Maybe, just maybe, this game Plaxico and Santonio will receive the ball more than a total of 4 times. I think that for our offense to work it will have to be via the passing game. All we need for it to work is for Sanchez to get the time he needs and for him to stay in the pocket, when he leaves the pocket thats when he does absolutely terrible by either taking a sack or instead of throwing it away he tries to squeeze it into double coverage. I hope Dustin Keller will be a big part but im sure he remembers as well as we do that hit Ray Lewis put on him in the season opener a year ago but hopefully that's behind him now.
I think that we have the advantage when it comes to one on one with our receivers and the corners but factor in Ed Reed and that usually gives the opposition the advantage so pending if he blitzes, goes over the top on a receiver, or covers man to man on Derrick Mason or Keller i think there's ways to avoid him as an offense. If our receivers and Sanchez are on the same page i could see a couple of early scores coming our way.
Offensive X-Factor... Play Action
If there's one thing that i like about Sanchez that he does extremely well its his play action passes. The only bad apart i dont like about it is that it leads him out of the pocket and into a dangerous zone where if he's pressured he might not make the ideal throw. With that said since the Raven's might play a lot of man to man on us i think a play action play might get a slot guy or Dustin Keller open for big gains on 1st and 2nd down.
If play action works early i tihnk then it might spark up the running game and hopefully will ultimately give us an advantage for most of the game. Really this can all go good but hopefully Schotty can mix up plays and make it all work this week and hopefully we can face the Patriots with a same record fighting for maybe 2nd place in the Division (Bills) or a three way tie for first after this week.
Thanks for reading please leave your feedback and if you guys liked this one ill make one for Jets Defense vs Ravens Offense if you dont like it well at least i tried.

Hey there good post and welcome.
Just letting you know we released Woody for Hunter before the start of the season. You are thinking of Brandon Moore.
Also I agree with most of your points however, I think that Suggs will always line up against Hunter just to terrorize him. I have no doubt D’Brick, and Slauson can handle the left side.
And the home of the .... JETS!!!
Now lets get a G-D snack!!!
