During the Jets postseason run last season, we saw a coming out party for TE Dustin Keller. It has carried over into this season, as he presents mismatches when matched up against certain teams that don't have the athleticism and awareness to cover him.
In fact, the third-year player leads the Jets in receptions (55 catches for 687 yards, five touchdowns).
According to a tweet from NFL Alumni's public relations spokesperson, Jim Morris, he is being considered for NFL Alumni Tight End Of Year:
Finalists for NFL Alumni Tight End of the Year,#Falcons Tony Gonzalez, #Jets Dustin Keller and #Cowboys Jason Witten
That's two prolific, veteran tight ends that he is competing against. Good luck to DK!
