NYJetsCap.com reports the Jets have resigned Marquice Cole to a one year contract (Hat tip to The Jets Blog). It is reportedly worth $478,280.

This feels like a no-brainer. He did nice work on as a gunner on a punt coverage unit that was in the top half of the league allowing returns and forced the second most fair catches in the league.

He also showed promise at defensive back working in subpackages. Given his speed, Cole has a lot of natural ability. I would like to see Rex Ryan develop him further.
