Just to clarify because some people have asked, if the Jets beat the Colts Saturday, they will go to Foxborough to play the Patriots in the second round.
That is a 100% set in stone guarantee.
In the second round of the Playoffs, the top seed in each conference plays the lowest remaining seed. The Jets have the lowest seed in the AFC Playoffs so they would automatically be the lowest ranked remaining team.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves, though. For this to even happen, the Jets have to beat the Michael Jordan of quarterbacks, but a rubber match with the Pats is what Gang Green will be playing for.
