Looking Back at Shonn Greene's Season

Hey everyone. I'm not sure if you remember on not, but I came here in the offseason last year and posted a quite controversial post about Shonn Greene. In case you don't remember, here it is: http://www.ganggreennation.com/2010/6/6/1504061/shonn-greene-overrated

I'm here to review his stats and see what the final consensus about Shonn Greene is.

Last offseason, Greene was projected to be a top RB in the NFL this year.

This year, Greene carried the football 185 and rushed for 766 yards (4.1 yards per carry) and 2 touchdowns. He also accounted for 16 receptions for 120 yards and no TDs.

His yards averaged for every carry is down from last year's impressive 5.0 to a mediocre 4.1. He also has the same amount of touchdowns on nearly 80 more carries this year.

Last offseason, there was much hype about Greene becoming an elite, or at least a top 10 'back, which I argued would not happen, and I believe I was correct.

DISCLAIMER: This post is in no way a form of trolling or talking trash, I am simply reviewing the season, as I would have even if I was wrong. I am here, as a friendly football fan, not to fight anyone.
