It's always nice to see our players nominated, and few would think Sanchez would be up for the FedEx air player of the week after the week one showing.
Jay Cutler of the Bears and Matt Schaub of the Texans are also nominated, and it'll be hard to argue against Schaub winning it with his 497 yards and 3 TD's. However since when do fans vote for the player that actually deserves the accolade.
So head over to NFL.com to vote for Mark Sanchez as the FedEx air player of the week.
Sanchez: 21/30 for 220 yards, 3 TD's and 0 INT
Cutler: 21/29 for 227 yards, 3 TD's and 0 INT
Schaub: 38/52 for 497 yards, 3 TD's and 1 INT (497 yards is a franchise record)
