Meet Don Maynard at the Meadowlands Sunday

Don Maynard will be signing autographs and meeting fans Sunday before the game at the MetLife gate at the new stadium. Maynard is a Hall of Famer mainly because of his time playing receiver with the Jets. He has written a book recently, You Can't Catch Sunshine.

If you are going to the game, you have the chance to meet a living legend and an original member of the Jets Ring of Honor.

Don Maynard is a god. Besides making the key catches in the super season of yore, he also (with a few other Jets that year) did one of the first commercials with jocks. I believe it was Brylcreme, a hair gel.

After watching some of the players today and their antics, I appreciate a guy like this all the more.
