The Defense played good, but,

I'm sure a lot of you guys share in the feel of ultimate frustration of last night game. While the offense was inept, the defense allowed an alarming nine first downs on third down, with most of them being third and long. There was nothing worse then having the Ravens at the goal line, then letting them complete third and long when field position was desperately needed. Say what you want, the corners had no chance because the Jets famous blitz was not getting to Flacco. The sad thing about the continuing blitzing is I felt the D-line was getting good penetration. The Ravens first pass of the game became a sack because of the coverage of the Jets. Why not show some trust in our front three or four? It's funny because I seen this game played out before. Last season against Indy, the colts stayed away from Revis and picked apart the other corners. This happened due to Indy picking up the blitz, leaving the corners out on a island. My question is when do we dial back on the blitz. Why not show blitz and drop back to zone, or do some zone blitzing. With New England coming to town, it makes me wonder, has teams caught up with the Jets famous blitz?
