Mark Sanchez Slides
Manish Mehta has some good news out of Cortland.
Jets @Mark_Sanchez scrambles and slides. Gets up and takes a bow as crowd cheers. Older and wiser!
This is just fantastic news.
It's was easy to get frustrated with Sanchez for not sliding last year. I know I was at times. It might seem simple, but it really isn't. You can try and change something in practice. A guy still reverts to his familiar instincts at game time. Habits are not easy to change on the fly in the middle of a season. It might take months of low pressure practice, breaking everything down to get rid of bad tendencies.
Let's hope this carries over.

This is good to hear
It’s not just the potential for serious injury thats a concern, but also those nagging injuries late in the year. All the greats such as Peyton who know how to go through a year minimizing the bumps and bruises seem much fresher during their teams playoff runs. It’s the small things that seperate the greats, from the just-good.
España 2010 Campenoes del Mundo!!!

Does anyone know if there is going to be food at this Hard Knocks party in times square?
Get busy winning or get busy losing.
From a website:
Here’s what will be going on in Times Square on Tuesday:
● A Jets fan kickoff rally in Times Square to help celebrate "Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the New York Jets" (which premieres on Aug. 11 on HBO at 10 p.m. ET/PT).
● A youth skills competition for boys and girls ages 8-16, who can compete to win a chance to become preseason Jets assistant team captains. (Preregistration starts at 11 a.m. for 100 available spots. Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to participate. First come, first served.)
● A chance to win "The Jets Super Fan Experience," which includes 10 Jets-Giants preseason game tickets and a VIP tailgate party.
● A live satellite feed from Jets training camp in Cortland as head coach Rex Ryan and Jets players answer questions submitted from Times Square. (Coach Ryan will be joined by children from Camp Owahta. HBO has partnered with the non-profit organization Generation Jets Academy to provide a positive summer camp experience to a select group of underserved NYC children, and these children will participate in the live satellite feed from Cortland.
For what it’s worth, I see nothing mentioned of food.
Is it NFL time yet?
:( What kind of party at noon doesn’t have food? Lame
