Is it me or nobody is talking about Lowery's and Cole's performances against Carolina?

Wow, is all I can say, I know that they not face any great receivers or even a decent offense but the were playing hard out there, like their jobs depended on it. Gholston was pounding it, Cromarty was tackling and Lowery was bringing out the tackling beast. They were all hitting the opposition.

I loved seeing the receivers running out of bounds when they saw leonhard coming like a missile to meet them. The special teams players were hustling like it was the championship. If this group of defensive players can keep up the intensity I see another '85 Bears D.

If and when Revis comes out to play, the NFL better beware. Jets football never sounded so good.

And dont worry about the offense yet, they are not using any of the plays that they will use in the regular season, they were experimenting, even the O-line was trying different schemes. The Jets were not using many in routes, I imagine that both Cotchery and Coles are going to run inside more often, Keller was running some sideline posts. Well it looked like everybody was running outside posts. Like you do when you are calling a two minute offense. At this point most of the team looks ready for the season and that is a good thing.
