Out of those choices I would say nagging injuries, but the reality is that’s just the bi-product of the real reason—overuse.

A combination of things, overuse/nagging injuries/a move to a more pass orientated system etc

LT is going to be really interesting to watch this year, people are definitely split on him.

How 'bout lousy run-blocking?

As a Jets fan who lives in San Diego and watched every Chargers game, I’d say that not enough blame is being placed on the dismal Chargers run-blocking last season. Darren Sproles was absolutely explosive 2 years ago, but he couldn’t find any holes either last season. LT has definitely lost the breakaway speed that he had 3-5 years ago, but that has not been the reason that he wasn’t finding holes and hitting them. The reason for that is that there weren’t any holes last season.

I feel that LT can still be very productive in 3rd down, goal-line and receiver out of the backfield roles with the Jets.
