Jason Cole: Jets' offensive line #7 in NFL
7. New York Jets: I can already hear the good folks of Gang Green ripping me for putting this unit only one spot ahead of the Giants after the Jets led the league in rushing last season. That would be a reasonable thing to say if the pass protection hadn’t been so bad last year (the Jets ranked No. 23 according to Football Outsiders). A lot of that goes to the youth of quarterback Mark Sanchez, but facts are facts. All of that said, no line in the league has a better chance of moving up significantly this season than the Jets, even after the release of veteran Alan Faneca.

Eh, its all so subjective. He doesn’t even lay out any sort of criteria. Nor does he account for superior QB play. Good to spark a debate though.
Now Thomas Jones, although solid, is a far cry from being an elite back. Yet with the Jets he rushed for more yards than Adrain Peterson, who a very good o-line as well. So how is it that he views Miami as the best o-line in the league when both Ricky and Ronnie were better backs than TJ was last year? I just don’t see the logic there.
anyone suprised
that a dolphin fan posted this
we dont go to ur blog and post all the “experts” that are saying sanchez is better than henne
JETS
I got no problem with Bike. He adds to the discourse for the most part. And this post in particular wasn’t negative towards the Jets or obnoxioously positive for the Phins. Really nothing wrong with it. Could have just as easily been posted in the exact same fashion by a Jet fan and you probably wouldn’t have had a problem with it.
