AshleyMadison.Com Offers $25M Bid for New Meadowlands' Naming Rights
Adultery sells.
(Wait.... what???)
Apparently it does, because Noel Biderman, founder of AshleyMadison.Com, a dating site based on infidelity, has reportedly offered $25 million for the naming rights to the New Meadowlands' stadium.
TMZ has reported that Biderman sent a letter to New Meadowlands' CEO Mark Lamping with all of the specifics surrounding the offer. Here is an excerpt from it:
"At this stage, we are prepared to make a preliminary offer ... of $25,000,000 for the Naming Rights for a five-year term."
The deal would be for a five-year term and work out to approximately $5M/year.

This will never happen....
Do you think the NFL will let this happen. No way, but what brilliant marketing by AM. They find a way to have everyone talking about them and visiting their site for FREE.

Agreed, not only that but the NFL pulled Ashley Madison’s ad from the Super Bowl and pulled their mention in the program.
Which is ironic since the NFL allows Viagra and Cialis commercials.
The Islanders went from Marty McInnis and a 2nd Overall pick to Jesse Joensuu.
Are you kidding?
No comparison. Viagra and Cialis don’t promote having an affair.
This world is just getting more worse by the day. Promoting infidelity? No bueno.
GANG GREEN ALL DAY!
You see, it's not about how you won the game, it's about how you played the game.... there's a difference.
It’s a joke, I’m saying that Viagra and Cialis causes affairs. Older men suddenly acting like their 20 year olds again and their wives not wanting a part of it.
The Islanders went from Marty McInnis and a 2nd Overall pick to Jesse Joensuu.
my apologies
I guess it’s indirect promotion I suppose.

No worries, it is a bit of a reach.

Hit it on the head here Erik, absolutely brilliant by their CEO. While I don’t endorse their content, how many hits did that website get today? an absolute ton. I’m sure they knew it would never get accepted, but take a bow Ashley Madison, that is one fine piece of free marketing you have done there.

Just another dating site
I would take the 25 mill for just one year. Since you goner get the flack, might as well overcharge the hell out of them.
They should try and contact the Knicks instead and name it AshleyMadison Square Garden.

Home of the New York Adulterers…Shouldn’t we all just go back to discreetly cheating behind each other’s back instead of in front of each other?

This is a dumber idea than Ross believing the Dolphins will win the next Super Bowl.

You mean they won't?
They have the best QB ever in the franchise history. Ross said so himself. Still LMAO!
I gave a solid "Hah!" to this.

No way! Mara, Tisch and Johnson have morals and social responsibility! They want to sell the name to a company who built the World War 2 concentration camps – Allianz.
What was Allianz thinking? Because there may have been survivors of the WW2 holocaust, but when it comes to the 70 year (and counting) guilt trip that followed, there are NO survivors…
