National Football Post
Micheal Lombardi and Wes Bunting are becoming two of the most biased writers I see in my opinion. Lombardi is a joke, and a Pats D#$K rider and therefore of course will hate on the Jets, but he LOVES Parcells and the Dolphins. Sorry, but no, yeah Parcells is a great coach/personel guy, but the PHINS? He likes them better than the Jets this year…Im sorry but aside from Brandon Marshall, what threat do they REALLY have. I mean Ronnie Brown is ALWAYS hurt, and R.Williams will be 32/33 this year, plus Henne is overrated, and struggled the last couple games. Bunting is ridiculous, his “overrated prospects list” consists of people he LOVED before the draft. NFP is becoming more like The bleacher Report each week IMO. The only decent read is the guy who is an agent, his name escapes me at the moment. Lombardi should join the Bleacher report and espn, and get off NFL network, the guy is turning into a McShay, or Cimini. Just saying bull$hit to get ratings/hits online. btw, I understand that the Raiders are a mess, but the dude needs to leave em alone already. Maybe if he wasn’t such a blantant/shameless Brady/Belicheat hugger, and was less biased he would be a better writer/reporter. I used to respect the guy a lot, but the more I pay attention, the more I think he is in the McShay category.
Sorry about the long Paragraph
But those dudes are really starting to bug me. And how can u say McKnight won’t live up to the hype, I mean the only ones really hyping him are Jets fans, to my knowledge. I mean he was a 4th round pick, let the guy live bunting. Its people like this guy, that aren’t jets fans, that give him hype, unfortunately he is giving McKnight bad hype. I mean again, he was a 4th rounder, how much hype can their be. And we aren’t neccessarily looking to really REPLACE Leon, we just knew he was coming off a devasting injury and his head was getting to big to fit through the door, especially for a 10-15 carry guy. Cause of his damn agent, Keels is a joke.
And I hate his stupid grin too, when he figures he says something really outrageous, we should put him and McShay in a room together and see who tells us that JaMarcus Russell will be a hall of famer first, just to get the most attention. They are like high school girls, with their “RUMORS” and LIES…..
Check out this yahoo article. It has the Jets’ receiving corps (WRs and TEs) ranked #16 in the league. Jason Cole, you are ridiculous.
If you don’t want to click, this is basically all that was said:
16. New York Jets: If Braylon Edwards returns to Pro Bowl form and Santonio Holmes can get his head straight, this group could be awesome by December. If so, the Jets will be a serious contender.
We’re ranked below the Niners (Crabtree/Davis and nobody), Lions (Calvin Johnson and who else?), and 13 other teams.
Man I hate that guy!!
I always remember at the end of one show last season. He said the Dolphins are better then the Jets because they beat them twice. The way he said it, it was a shot at the Jets organzation. He is very bias. We have to win to shut that fat bastard up.
nobody has a 3rd receiver as good as Cotch. Santonio is in the top 10, Keller is in the top ten. And Edwards and cotch were #1WR. only a handful of teams have a #2 rec who was a number #1 rec on another team and like i said NO ONE has a better #3 rec. That article is a joke. Also LT is one of the best pass catching RB in the history of the league
the only problem with all this "greatness"
…surrounding Sanchez (including a great OL), is that if Sanchez doesn’t perform well by the 6th week there is going to be a huge amount of pressure on him. Its like driving your dad’s Lamborghini, if it crashes it wasn’t because the steering, brakes or acceleration failed you. By surrounding Sanchez with so much talent, and putting him in an offense where he won’t likely be passing too much, WHEN he does pass a lot is going to be expected of him. He was a mixed bag with the pressure last year. Tannenbaum went out and bought him a bunch of toys, and Rex will only let him play with them if he is good (remember red, green, yellow). The offense sure looks great, but that can be a double edged sword with a young QB that really hasn’t figured out just who he is. When Dad says, just don’t crash the car, crashing the car tends to be a little too much on your mind, if you know what I mean.
I’d be fine if Sanchez just played pitch and catch with Cotchery and Keller, and Green runs and runs. Let Edwards stretch the defense once in a while, and then let Holmes take over for that week 5, leaving Edwards to catch jump balls in the Red Zone.

Idiots
Jason Cole is another hater thats a joke. Fu#king drives me nuts that these guys can work and make a ton of money based off of their blantantly biased opinion, I mean I’m not gonna say we are #1 Wr wise, but we should at least be top5, I mean the 49ers beat us? Jerry Rice isn’t on the team anymore Jason Cole, wake up, its not 1994. It really makes me sick that these guys like Cole, Lombardi, McShay, and Bucky Brooks make a ton of money and get national attention. When we have GREAT writers like John B, Dave Wyatt, dvdil, Birch, and Russ H working here, and they mainly get squat as far as attention is concerned, Im not gonna pretend I know how much $ they make. I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t as much as those dilholes I previously mentioned do, I mean John B and company bust their asses, and those stupid/biased/idiot/false/ jokes of writers get that kind of clout and loot. It makes me sick, and btw I’m not sucking up, I think SB Nation, for the most part, and GGN deserve better without those idiots being in the picture, and when u compare it, its ridiculous. Lastly the only one that is great at Yahoo sports is Micheal Silver, that site will tank if not for him. I say we start a petition, or start something, to get our guys noticed. Any Ideas???
I mean I used to go to a ton of sites, to read about the Jets, because I couldn’t really find many or any that i could relate with agree to. I don’t go to any other strictly Jets site, and its cause of the great/unbiased/truthful work at this site. I mean its not hard to just report the truth, without naming “sources” like Lombardi and Cole. Its seriously a joke how much these “writers” get away with, as far as naming sources, and basically making $hit up a lot of the time. Then they will make this lists, and you read it, and the only thing it makes you believe is that they don’t watch football at all. They just read the stats at the end of the week. Its a sad, sad joke. I could do a better job than Lombardi, and Bucky brooks. Did you see their mock drafts, it was like they just put a list names on the wall and threw up darts….
Yeah, when I read that I started to worry, but
when you watch the tape you get a different feeling. He said it kinda in passing, and the way he said it was more like “I’m a great PLAYER” (like, I play hard and give alot), than “I’m a GREAT player”. I was ready to get all over him, but it didn’t sound that bad.
