Sanchez Runs on Treadmill

This one goes out to those of you who want this site to be about Mark Sanchez's knee all the time. The quarterback ran on a treadmill for the first time since his surgery.

Sanchez still hopes to take part in the Jets' June 14-16 minicamp, although Rex Ryan said last week the team would be cautious with the young passer and might hold him out until the start of training camp.

Sanchez had surgery after the season to repair damage to the patella tendon in his left knee.

 

I don't think minicamp is as important this year as it would have been a year ago to get him hands on experience with the playbook. It still would be nice to give him a chance to develop some chemistry with Santonio Holmes.
