Jets to Present Super Bowl Bid Tomorrow
The Jets and Giants will reveal their Super Bowl 2014 bid tomorrow in the form of a public presentation.
According to the New York Post, owners from both teams will be present, as well as QB's Mark Sanchez and Eli Manning.
May 25 is when the winner will be announced at the NFL owners' spring meetings in Dallax, Tx.
Arizona has dropped out of the bidding, and the Jets will be competing against Miami and Tampa -- two warm-weather climates.
This decision could potentially be ground-breaking, as the NY-area looks to host the first cold-weather, outdoor Super Bowl in history.
We have a beautiful, new stadium, it'd be great to put it to use and host the big game!

I want to see it happen.
New York is amazing, who cares if it will be a bit cold?
Darrelle Revis once won a game of Connect Four in three moves.
I can't imagine the players minding too much.
But a lot of rich people would be uncomfortable and upset.

Find by me.
However, I think the Super Bowl should be rotated from NFL city to NFL city over a course of 31 years.
R.I.P. Derrick Thomas. The Chiefs and the World have never been the same since your untimely death.

NY superbowl
Hell ya thats the reason the Jets should get this, to switch things up a bit being an outdoor cold weather superbowl it would different and exciting for fans.
I'm excited!
I’m a die hard Pats fan and I’m even excited about this. I’ve been moaning and crabbing for decades about the league’s unwritten rule to avoid cities north of the Carolina’s for a Super Bowl. If memory serves me correct, the last time one did take place it was in Detriot which was played INDOORS!!!! What CRAP!
I was wondering when the NFL would recognize some of it’s northern franchises and give us some love! It’d be one thing if football fans in general weren’t already well equipped to handle poor conditions…. including COLD. We’re football fans dammit! I’ll be the first to admit some venues, including Foxboro could not support that kind of event. Our stadium is off the beaten path and lodging, transportation, and dining would all SUCK. But NYC as well as others, like Pittsburgh, Philly, Chicago and Denver are all AWESOME venues and host cities for that kind of grand stage. I hope the NFL stops their tropical patterns and gives these places a shot!
While I’m on a tear, I’d like to say I’ve stopped watching the show SURVIVOR for that reason. I was once a big fan….. but they too, won’t select an interesting, cold location that challenges contestents to a whole new set of skills. Alaska, Nepal, Siberia, Norway, Greenland….. Even Chille near Cape Horn! How cool would that be?
Three cheers for snow ice and fridged temps!!!!
Love Em Green
I have been a Jet fan since the days of Joe Willie,Richard Todd and the Sack Exchange.
