Because of all the CBs in the Jets roster Warren would be buried deep in the depth, so they want to move him to safety. A position the Jets are definetly short at.

What do you guys think? Warren was a very good cover corner but his zone needs a lot of work, he seemed to get lost when chasing guys he was not covering. And at safety what is needed most is the ability to read and react. I dont know if I agree with making him a safety. Marquice Cole seems to be better at zone.

I would love to have Warren as a fourth corner and gettind rid of Lowery and making Coleman a Corner/safety backup.

Maybe turning Basped or Brian Jackson to safety. Basped is a good tackler and likes to chase plays. I dont know much about Jackson but I read that his zone and reading plays are much better than his man coverage.

If anyone knows anything please let me know. I am not comfortable with the safety situation. In Rex's defense safeties are really a lifeline, because if anyone gets past the blitz the safeties need to stop them fast.
