The answer to that question is the follower, because you can't lead unless you have followers. What I'm about to say is my opinion and only my opinion; I'm not trying to change how some people feel about certain issues. However, I have a problem with Jet fans trying or wishing to pursue what seem like every washed up veteran that is available. My thinking is most of these guys are career leaders and if we keep bringing in guys with giant egos, we going to have many leaders and no followers. We have I believe to be a great roster, with a great coach, a great system and great management. I feel this preseason is very crucial because we have to get several new players to implement Rex's system. We lost at least two games last year because our safeties were not on the same page. I know we lack a potent pass rush, but the Superbowl champion Saints did the same thing we did to get to the quarterback, disguise a blitz and play good defense in the secondary. Also, I understand about gearing up for a Superbowl run, but if we get to and win the Superbowl with the young talent we have, it would be more satisfying because most of these young guys would be still be with us for a title defense. One more thing, nothing is promise in the National Football League, all our rookies can be bust (which i seriously doubt), but even worst is giving a veteran money and he don't give us what we expect. We already took two chance with LT and JT. I'm by no means am saying fans should not post who we should pursue, but we can't have everybody.
