A. Thomas should be a Jet.
Most of us wanted another edge rusher in the draft, so I think there’s room for him. We can sub-out Harris/Scott on 3rd downs and keep them fresh, and then we can send Thomas from anywhere. Having our guys fresh in the 4th is key. Having Pace and Taylor on the edges, and Thomas coming from who knows where would be sweet.
The one issue with our D from last year was our getting gassed in the crunch of 4th qtrs. Adding a jack of all trades LB like AD is a way to keep everybody fresh to make sure we can still pressure the QB when it counts the most.
+1
Do you think we would have to release a linebacker to aquire AD?
And to be fair to Easterbrook
I mean, they’re named New York and both teams play in New Jersey. And the Jets would be the B team since let’s be honest they were the B team all this time to the Giants (it was Giants Stadium and all, they were there first, etc.). He’s being an ass, but he’s not really inaccurate. And he’s fair in his writing. Maybe he gets some kind of special enjoyment out of calling us that, but I really don’t care and it doesn’t bother me. Personally, I’d rather read his column than Peter King’s or mostly anyone else in the uh… I guess you’d call it mainstream football professional editorial world?
It just doesn’t add anything to the article. It distracts and discredits more than enhances.
and the home of the... JETS!!!

I've tried to email Revis, but it just shuts down my computer.
And its just stupid...
I see stuff like this all the time, people just trying to piss off NY fans, and as you pointed out there are a bunch of teams that don’t play exactly play in the place that they are named for. In this day and age it makes more sense. If your not from NY you may think it would bother us, but the truth is everyone know NY (city/metropolitan area that is) is made up of far more than just the five boroughs and includes parts of NY, NJ, and CT, and is simply called NY.
Not to mention, the Meadowlands are like a half-hour drive away from Manhattan via the Lincoln Tunnel (not accounting for traffic of course lol) so it’s basically irrelevant. But my point is that why even bother complaining? It IS stupid, and I don’t like it either, but whatever. We’ve all got thick skin around here. And the rest of his column is interesting to read.
