UPDATE: 2010-11 Schedule Will be Released on 4/20

We have received a few e-mails and Tweets regarding the status of the 2010 NFL Schedule – a topic that currently has the Twitter world buzzing.

The most recent update we have on the matter is a Tweet which came from NFL Spokesperson Greg Aiello.

In it, Aiello answers the pressing question:

"2010 NFL regular-season schedule will be announced on Tuesday, April 20, at 7 pm ET on NFL.com and NFL Network to kick off Draft Week.

.....FWIW, In 2008, the schedule was released on April 15. 2009’s release took place on April 14.

A party to release a schedule? How about releasing the friggin’ schedule and have your party afterwards.

This really makes no sense. They’ve told everybody who they will be playing, just not when. And that was weeks ago. I would think that thats the hard part. Whats the hold up?

Confirmed date just came across the news wire. It will be on April 20….

Everyone know who’ll they’ll be playing except for two teams years in advance.

Next year the jets will play the NFC East, the AFC west, the other three teams in the division, and the two teams in the AFC that have the same record as the jets.

The schedule making is the hard part. Although if they’re done, they might as well release it now.
