Steve Weatherford Gets Heart Ailment Corrected
Punter Steve Weatherford had a procedure to cure the irregular heartbeat that kept him out of the Playoff game against the Bengals.
Weatherford tells The Associated Press he had the minimally invasive procedure a week ago at Morristown Memorial Hospital, a few miles from where the team trains.
Weatherford is on blood thinners and says he feels great. He took part in voluntary team workouts Thursday for the first time since the procedure.
It has to be a huge relief to get that fixed. I'm not sure that he'll be back, but I'll always have a lot of respect for the guy for trying to kick in that game.

Good for him! I’d still like to find a better punter, but good for him!

Good for Steve, but I have to wonder why he had this operation a week before the voluntary work outs were set to begin, he has had a fair bit of time to get this done and sorted, and that would of given himself some more time to recover just as a precaution before he started work outs.
