Mark Should Be Ready for Camp
Mark Sanchez says he's full speed ahead on his attempt to be ready for training camp.
"I'll absolutely be 100 percent by training camp and be ready to go for the season," Sanchez, recovering from offseason knee surgery, said in an interview with the team's Web site. "It's all right. It was pretty minor surgery."
Sanchez said he's been working out "like crazy" and the fact that he's needed to be around the team facility to rehab has been a blessing in disguise.
"I think this injury taught me a little about what needs to happen every offseason," Sanchez said. "Not the injury part, obviously, but staying here, being around. I almost wouldn't have known any better. I would've been home [in California], maybe watched some film and kind of gotten into the playbook a little bit, but not as focused as I was here."
Well that's some good news.
The first offseason of a player's career sets routines. It's good to see Mark has been so hard at work.

this fuckin kid is gonna be one of the greatest quarter backs this franchise has ever had, and with schotty returning we can only expect great things from sanchez this season, we just need to get him some more weapons on offense so he can show the world the reason we moved up in the draft to get him
Good News!
Sometimes you can tell a player had an excellent offseason and got alot better the next year,i hope this is one of those. Keep it up Mark!
Curtis "my favorite" Martin - 1 of the best!
Leon hint, hint.
Mark isn’t actually throwing Leon under the bus but he is kind of.,
In my opinion it’s Leon’s fault that he’s in this spot. Should have told
his agent to take the money and run. How dare he take it out on the team.
What was the original offer that his agent advised him to decline?
Leon isn’t taking anything out on anybody. He’s opting not to volunteer for workouts and is doing his rehab at home near his family. As for the offer, t here’s conflicting reports, the team says approx $5 mil plus bonuses, other sources say $2 mil without bonuses.
If this was really going to negatively impact the team, Rex wouldn’t have been exasperating the situation with his media barrage. He would have just let the issue lay low and spole with his team privately about the importance of showing up for voluntaries.
There’s defintely a method to the madness of whats happening with that situation.
LT:
“You build a chemistry through the offseason by lifting weights and running. Guys see how you work and judge it from there.”
Couldn’t agree more, which is why Leon is not endearing himself to anyone for not rehabbing at the facility.
