Cromartie is a real pro
Pro-creator that is, ha-ha. 7 kids with 6 different women? He obviously doesn’t believe in certain types of coverage.
Seriously, If it becomes a second round pick, I think that’s too steep a price to pay for an overrated corner who is a poor tackler vs. the run (watch what he did on Shonn Green’s TD run in the playoffs, he was a screen door). If it’s a third round pick then that probably means he did not play well enough to get us where we need to go, so it’s kind of lose-lose.

Obviouslt he has maturity issues, but I wouldnt label him a bad guy. From all accounts the champaigne think had nothing to do with him other than he was at the bar when it happened. Since he was the highest profiled person there, and probably had the deepest pockets, of course he got named in the suit. The kids stuff is immaturity, as is the DMV stuff. The tweeting thing can be handled in one meeting, and really was that big of a deal. Can’t say the guy is divisive. But if you wanna take the negative and run with it, theres plenty of ammo.
I agree with you Crack, you get immature people and just plain bad people, Cromartie falls into the first category. I hope he settles down a little bit and just focuses on his football, but it’s not like he is being done for gun possession or assault or anything like that. I think playing with someone who has a great work ethic like Revis will do wonders for Cro.

I was thinking the same. We have a great veteran presence and lots of leadership on the defense. I think he’ll be fine here. I just hope he doesn’t buddy up with Braylon and Rhodes. Those are the only two i worry about being lockerroom issues right now.
Can see why you would worry, but like I was saying yesterday, any player that comes to the Jets gets a clean slate as far as I;m concerned (within reason). Braylon since being here hasn’t been a problem at all (and if we were being honest, how much of a problem was he in Cleveland, really?). Kerry hasn’t exactly been bad either, he was disappointed with the benching and said a few things that he probably shouldn’t of. Some guys were unhappy but I can’t imagine him being a locker room cancer or anything like that. If anything, this team actually seems like harmonious, and that’s pretty hard to get from 50+ guys in one area.

does it really matter the deal is done and if cromartie gets out of line you know for a fact scott and pace will put him in his place
We should throw out a feeler to Sharper. The man can still hawk.
This.
"Relax, all right? Don't try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring; besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls. It's more democratic."

Sharper is meeting with the Bears either today or tomorrow. Seems Chicago is going on a spending rampage this off-season.

David I want to apologize for our disagreement last night.
Nothing personal, far from it. I enjoy debating football and sometimes I get to heated.
