Me either, but if it is a 3rd next year when the draft is probably a little weak, then might be worth the risk.

Still don’t like his pansy play

I’ll tolerate it if it’s a 3rd.

Rex does seem to get the most out of his guys, and Cro has all the talent in the world. (Clearly trying to talk myself into this).

Apparently according to the former Baltimore scout, when Rex watched Cro’s work out pre draft, he said it was the best ever. I will trust Rex, and it seems like Mike T has robbed them blind here

Is there any possibility at trying him out at Safety, hence the Boldin/Rhodes trade talk?

by Crackback on Mar 4, 2010 10:46 PM EST up reply actions

Not crazy about Cro, but I actually think he would be a good fit. nrmax88 has been makin some sense about his style in our defense. Just hope he doesn’t blow up the locker room.

Dude he was able to do that while playing in Denver, imagine how many baby Cromarties will be running round New York. Someone needs to introduce him to a think we call a Condom.

Chargers trade Cromartie to Jets for a 2011 third round pick that could escalate to a 2nd

Good trade. Can’t complain.

by Crackback on Mar 4, 2010 10:32 PM EST up reply actions

Not a bad trade, but he is going to have to toughen up a little bit, no ducking out of challenges around here.

True. But ithink matched up on number 2s and with help over the top he can return to his hawkish ways. And as it stands right now, with Welker’s knee, theres really no WRs for him to worry about doing damage in our division.

Yer true, chargers must hate this guy, practically given him away

That they gave him up for so little worries me some.

And yeah, they talked all that smack about having the best tandem in the league and how he’s statistically just as good as Revis… Gott feeling the tune changed.

by Crackback on Mar 4, 2010 10:41 PM EST up reply actions

Cro said he wanted to play more man-to-man, and specifically mentioned the jets. Its like the kris jenkins situation. Just needs a change of scenery.

Really is a steal

the guy was a former was a 1st rounder. hell excel in ryan’s defense.

by Ryan Alfieri on Mar 4, 2010 10:36 PM EST reply actions

Wow, for a 3rd rounder?

Awesome job Mike T.

Strikeouts are boring- Besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls - it's more democratic.

Could and probably will become a 2nd.

it depends on performance of the team and cro’s playing time. lets hop it turns into a 2nd rounder lol

by Ryan Alfieri on Mar 4, 2010 10:39 PM EST up reply actions

Yer I’m sure it’s pretty generous, can’t imagine them doing it if it was a remote chance it turned into a 2nd

So what now with the 2nd pick? Running Back? Lock in on Shipley?

by Crackback on Mar 4, 2010 10:40 PM EST reply actions

Shipley without a doubt, we have our corner, let’s get our pass rusher and bring sure hands Shipley in

As bad as I want Gerhart I have to agree. I really believe Shipley is a perennial All Pro. Call me crazy but I got that feelin.

by Crackback on Mar 4, 2010 10:43 PM EST up reply actions

I agree, I think it really is a must to give him another weapon. Shipley is perfect
