Wayne Hunter Signs Tender
Backup offensive lineman Wayne Hunter has signed his tender to come back to the Jets.
Hunter, entering his fourth season with the Jets, signed the deal worth about $1.2 million Tuesday.
I'm happy to hear this. Hunter provided value lining up at tight end in jumbo sets. He's a talented guy and played his part in the top rushing attack in the league. I feel good having him back for depth also.

He is pretty reasonable, obviously it would be a big step down, but that says more about our current offensive lineman than Hunters ability. He has shown improvements, and I wouldn’t mind him filling in now and again.

i don't understand nfl salaries
i feel like hunter’s role is easily replaceable by a rookie for less than half the price, but other guys who seem to have a bigger role have similar salaries
