"Most players buy into what we’re selling," Ryan said. "To be honest with you, I don’t know if Kerry fully bought in. I think he did later. As the year went on, I could see him trying to do what we asked."
Later, Ryan added, "If we thought he was giving us everything he had, it never would’ve been an issue."
Pretty much confirms what we all thought, Rhodes didn’t put the work in…… he had a rel chance this year to put his name up there and prove himself, and he was lazy….it’s why he will never be an elite safety, and why it’s good that he is gone.

Oh man, you hate to hear Big Jenks talking about hanging it up. But going into his 10th year and carrying all that weight seems to be taking it’s toll. Could this mean Mt Cody is a stronger possibility at #29?

I think so. Cody at 29 makes alot of sense. Guys with his size and athleticism don’t come around often, and right now you have a guy (Jenkins) on the team thats his size and can play at a high level that he can watch and learn little nuances about how to use his body. I think we almost have to go Cody. Our team identity right no is heavily predicated on our defense, and our defense can’t operate to full capacity without an immovable NT.
