Owusu-Ansah FS?
Right here is my theory... Owusu-Ansah is projected to be a mid round pick. so hopefully be there when jets are picking in the fourth. He has good height and strength standing at 6 ft and pumping out 21 reps on the bench at his pro day. To me this means he has the ability to put in a big hit but also because he was a college CB has good coverage skills. He is fast and strong and therefore can excell as an nfl free safety. I just believe that this could be a very good long term solution at free safety for the jets and they wont have to give a 1st rounder for him which i like.
Would like people opinions on this matter

If he’s there then, Im for it. Big guy like you said. Ran a 4.3. The 21 reps was apparently eye-popping for scouts bc he had just had surgery to repair his shoulder. He can help in the return game too I think. Just read that bc of his outstanding pro day, that he may go in rounds 2-3. Don’t know if i’d take him the 2nd, but wouldnt mind at all if they grabbed him in the 4th if he’s still there.
I like it
This guy looks like a beast! He is fast as hell and has the coverage skills that were lacking in the safety position. From reading a little bit about him, I wounder if he’s going to be there still at the 4th round. I say the most urgent needs are DE,WR,FS,OL if we can grab a good DE or WR in the first maybe we go to this guy in the 2nd? I also like Morgan Burnett, SS Georgia Tech, I have a feeling that due to the depth at safety in the draft this year he may still be there for us in the 2nd round. But I feel like if we go DE in the 1st and there is a good WR in the 2nd we will take him, so then I hope that Owusu-Ansah is still there in the 4th. Good Call.

He looks great.
He’ll be a stud in Rex’s defense as a FS… ball hawking skills look solid.
3rd
im hoping that we can pick up a third rounder sometime before the draft because then we can definately grab him.
